         Overnight to Pokhara

The lakeside town, 200km west of Kathmandu, is the most popular tourist spot in Nepal after Kathmandu. Pokhara stands at 900m and is pleasantly warm in winter when the capital gets cold. The mountains - Machhapuchare and the Annapurna - Dhaulagiri ranges - lay only 25km away and provide a magnificent backdrop to the lakes and the quaint town with its ambling pace.

Suggested Overnight Pokhara Package tour (2 night/ 3 days)

 

Day 01

Fly (35 minutes) or drive (6/7 hours) from Kathmandu to Pokhara and check in at hotel. Afternoon: sightseeing around lake side and Boating on Phewa Lake.

Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

 

Day 02

Early morning drive to Sarangkot hill (about 30 minutes) to view the sunrise over the central Himalayan range and back to hotel for breakfast.

Half-day sightseeing tour to Pokhara city, Davi's falls and around.

Afternoon: Free.

Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 03

After breakfast leave Pokhara.
